Nursery and Pre-Prep Christmas Concerts: What a fantastic success these were – not just quality but also massive enthusiasm, teamwork and a great deal of fun. Well done to everybody.

At the recent Youth Fencing Championships in Edinburgh Cargilfield had tremendous success: Justine Lambert won gold; Zengani Nyirenda won silver and Lunjika Nyirenda, Zoe Lambert and Olivia Grant won bronze.
Last week, we welcomed Gavin Brown, Conservative MSP for Edinburgh South, who spoke to pupils for forms 8, 7 and 6 in a questions and answers session.
Cargilfield hockey: What a start to a term, played 18 won 18 and this includes over 100 children representing Cargilfield in the various hockey teams so far.
Congratulations to Daniel Dalland who has been offered a place in the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain as a viola player. The whole school are all very proud of him and wish him luck (not that he needs any) for the future.
