Fee Scales - Session 2007/2008

Upper School

Two-Weekly boarders: £4,800 per term
Weekly boarders: £4,800 per term
Upper School fees include all meals and text books; there are no compulsory extras and parents receive notice of all additional costs.

Day pupils:

Forms 5 and above: £3,500 per term
Forms 4: £3,500 per term

Pre-Prep

Primary 1, 2, 3: £2,400 per term

Nursery

Nursery pupils:

(mornings - without lunch): £1,300 per term
(mornings - with lunch): £1,330 per term
(afternoons - with lunch): £1,330 per term
(all day - with lunch): £2,400 per term
(occasional afternoons by arrangement): £40*

Additional fees

Early Bird Club: £2.00 per session
After School Club: £8.00 per session
Flexi-boarding: £28 per night
Weekend boarding for day children and weekly-boarders: £28 per night

Fee Concessions are available as follows:
Second Child (Day pupil): 5%
Second Child (Boarding): 10%
Third Child: 35%
Fourth Child: 50%
Boarding Children of Serving Service Personnel: 15%

Please note that only one concession is available for each child.
* Concessions do not apply

The school tries at all times to keep the cost of education at Cargilfield as low as possible; we also have a second-hand uniform shop and some of our trips are subsidised by the school. Parents should also note that in addition to some Bursary support (see relevant information on Bursaries) there are various Educational Trust Funds which can help in cases of need.

Pre-Payment of fees

Please note that there is a 3% reduction on the payment of fees for the whole year. You should contact the office if you need any further information on this. The school also offers a plan for payment of fees for either part or all of the child’s education at Cargilfield; once again details are available from the school office.
