U11 Girls’ Success at Queen Margaret’s York
Our U11 girls’ team went on tour down to Yorkshire and had a lot of fun and some success. They began by defeating Cundall Manor 9-0 on the Thursday in a superb display of fast attacking hockey. All team members played very well indeed and were led by Eleanor Skinner.
On the Friday, we attended the Queen Margaret’s hockey tournament and although we began rather slowly, by the end of the event in the seventh and final match, we won the title in extra time. The third day of the tour saw a 2-1 defeat against St Olave’s in York.
