Senior Schools Concert Held at Cargilfield
On Friday the 5th of March Cargilfield hosted its third senior schools’ concert held in Chapel. Pupils, playing at a very high level – up to Grade 8 – came from Stewart’s Melville College, Edinburgh Academy, Fettes, Loretto, Glenalmond, St Leonard’s and Strathallan. 14 Superb pieces of Music were listened to by an enthralled audience of Cargilfield children, parents, staff and friends. One of the best parts of these concerts is that they are not competing in a competition; the senior pupils simply enjoy playing in front of each other and the applause made it very clear what we all thought about the effort and excellence.
