Glenalmond Choral Day
On 9th October Sunday the Chapel Choir took part in the annual Prep Schools’ Choral Day at Glenalmond College. Five prep schools joined the Glenalmond Chapel Choir to rehearse and perform 5 different anthems in an Evening Service attended by parents and friends. Cargilfield were chosen to sing the solo section at the end of one of the pieces and Tamara Coulthard read John Clare’s poem Autumn beautifully. Despite the horrendous roadworks on the road bridge, the Headmaster and over 30 Cargilfield parents & siblings joined us for the service. We were looked after brilliantly throughout the day by old girls Kayleigh Donaldson, Victoria Clark, Helena Clayhills-Henderson and Lily Strachan and a very good day was had by all.
