Once again the leavers went down to the Lake District for 7 days of climbing, canoeing, kayaking, wind surfing, gorge scrambling, sailing and raft-building
Very well done to all of the Cargilfield boys and girls sitting Common Entrance this term to 15 different schools all over the United Kingdom.
The Junior Camp was a superb three days up in Perthshire: thirty three tremendous pupils who never complained, went about their daily chores and challenges with happy smiles and a feeling of helping each other and getting on with it.
For the second time during this academic year, a party of boys and girls went to the Burn House up on the banks of the North Esk in Kincardineshire.
Jack Rutherford played superb golf to win the Loretto Under Thirteen Golf Championship held on Thursday the 12th of May.
At the end of this term, the whole of Year 7 sat their English exams and came through with 11 Distinctions, 12 Higher Merits and 10 Merits.
