Remembrance Day at Cargilfield
Cargilfield boys and girls, parents and grandparents and friends experienced a wonderfully moving Remembrance Service on the 11th November. Nick Blair, the Chaplain at Merchiston Castle School, talked about 8 of the 280 old boys – their names are gilded on the memorial of Chapel – and brought to life their characters and contributions; the Chapel Choir sang two beautiful anthems and in the school’s individual way we were able to remember a great many old boys.
