outside-the-classroom

In addition to going on trips all over Scotland and to parts of North England, tours - sporting, musical and other activities - also take place at the weekend. All Cargilfield children greatly benefit from these experiences.

There’s never a dull moment at Cargilfield.

We believe that a wide range of activities is essential for the development of children at Cargilfield. Thus we offer over 80 clubs which take place during the term, either during the day, the evening or at the weekend. Whether it be cuisine or silk painting, climbing or archery, jewellery making or fencing, bridge or photography, journalism or highland dance your child will find something to enjoy at Cargilfield.

Speaking to current parents and children, there is no doubt that one of Cargilfield’s distinctive features is the choice and range of activities in the arts, music, drama and sport as well as an incredible offering of over 80 clubs. This not only offers parents great value for money, it also ensures that children get a well-rounded education, where all skills are developed and the individual has an opportunity to shine each week.
