This week, some of our Form 8s gave up three days of their Easter holiday and took their National Navigation Award Scheme Bronze Navigator qualification.

This involves learning to navigate independently around the countryside using 'handrails' such as paths, walls and streams. They learnt techniques to help them including pacing, orientating the map and identifying contour features. Congratulations to all eight of the pupils who passed their practical assessment today.
