As part of their PSHE lessons, the Form 5s have started to learn about different cultures across the world, with a focus on Tunisia. They learnt a little about Tunisian history and its influence from the Romans, Ottoman Empire and France, as well as listening to some traditional music played on a 'mezwed' (North African bagpipes) and a zokra (oboe-type instrument). They also found out what harissa was (hot chilli sauce) and some of the traditional dress. A few members even got to try on a kafia, the North African head covering. The world is their oyster!
