Today Form Five attended a presentation and a questions and answer session with Derek Harris from the Edinburgh based space company Skyrora.  

This was part of the Glasgow Science Centre’s Curious about Innovation programme. 

Skyrora's aim is to be the leading UK launch vehicle provider into space and to become the number one commercial provider of access to space in the UK. Skyrora are 

developing innovative technologies all with environmental priority. This includes an RP-1 rocket fuel equivalent known as Ecosene made from unrecyclable plastic waste and Skyrora's Space Tug which will remove space debris and defunct satellites from orbit.
