A very good performance from both teams today.
The girls played 4 quarters of 10 minutes without any subs. The game was dynamic and any mistakes was at a cost. The girls understood that very early on in the game. They did not give in against a strong opponent, quick to move the ball on the pitch. Despite a clear lead from Fettes at the end of the first quarter, the girls managed to get back every point in the second quarter. Miranda and Mariella both scored multiple times. Lily and Isabella were intercepting every ball they could, coming at their goal. Lara, Scarlett and Bea did not get a break from the opposition and were constantly running during the game. It was an intense and fast game which both teams enjoyed playing.
