Lecture: Jamie Douglas-Hamilton

The Impossible Row

In 2019, Jamie and his crew attempted to row the 600 mile passage of water that stretches from the southern tip of South America to the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica, known as Drake's Passage. Their incredible act of endurance set five Guinness World Records and was described as “one of the most impressive adventures ever undertaken”.

It was a fabulous lecture, our first Since March 2020, and a big thank you to Jamie for coming and sharing his amazing adventures with us. The children loved it and there were lots of excellent questions from the audience afterwards.
