During the course of the past fortnight, a number of children have been taking part in the Edinburgh Competition Festival , giving them a chance to perform to a live audience outside school and get detailed feedback from eminent musicians who adjudicate each class. It has been lovely to see the positive feedback the children have received. Obviously not everyone can win, and the Competition Festival is about more than that, but how nice to be able to celebrate our two medal winners this year: Daniel won the Marion P Gibb medal for the Piano Solo U13 Junior Challenge and Felix won the Norman W Motion medal for Piano Solo Level 2 class.
