Cargilfield has won an impressive 39 awards in the recent UK wide Junior Maths Challenge for 11 to 14 year olds. Taken by Form 7 and 8 pupils in April, they achieved 39 certificates which was easily our best haul ever! (11 gold, 11 silver and 17 bronze).

Daniel came top followed by Joseph and Natasha.Daniel scored full marks of 135 out of 135 and is now entered into the prestigious Junior Olympiad competition.

Three other Gold winners – Joseph, Natasha and James did well enough to qualify for the Junior Kangaroo bonus round. (Only the top 10,000 were invited to sit a follow-on competition.)
