It was a pleasure to welcome Mrs Sue Bailiie, Head at Queen Margaret's, York, to preach in Chapel on Tuesday. Over the years, a number of children have gone on to QM from Cargilfield and we were delighted to see her up here in Scotland.
She spoke to us about the importance of building friendships and relationships in our daily lives. Talking about the importance of small ingredients and getting the mixture right when baking in the kitchen, if we do small acts of kindness and keep persevering, friendships will flourish and blossom. We need to find time to build friendships and not give up when things get difficult.
Thank you also to the Chapel Choir who performed a beautiful anthem in their first performance of the new term.
