U11A Netball beat Fettes

A thriller with one goal the difference!

Today was the first home game of the season for the U11A team. The game started with Savannah taking on the role of captain winning the first centre pass for Cargilfield. The game started off slow with both teams getting used to position and each other and building confidence. We started off playing a very defensive game finishing the first half down 2-4.

The second half of the game we started to flow making more accurate passes and to our own team. Both teams were called a lot for footwork, distance to opposition when defending and footwork, all areas we need to work on as individuals.

We held off Fettes scoring 3-0 in the second half with an overall result of 5-4, a very low scoring game. Lots to work on in traning.
