As part of their topic on plants, Form 8 have been investigating the relationship between light intensity and the rate of photosynthesis. Using pondweed meant that they could count the number of bubbles produced each minute to determine how quickly oxygen was being produced. Following the investigation, they plotted graphs of their data and concluded that the higher the light intensity, the higher the rate of photosynthesis.
