Yesterday, as part of British Science Week, the Upper School took part in a Space themed STEM day. The day started with a lecture from Professor Ken Rice, from Edinburgh University, who spoke to the children about exoplanets. The children then split off into their divisions to take part in a number of space themed sessions; these included: investigating exoplanets, observing 'alien life', astronaut selection challenges, and constructing a 'grabber' which might be attached to a lunar rover to pick up rock samples.Well done to all of the children for their enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day
