New Governor

A warm welcome to Sarah Webb who joins the Board

We are pleased to welcome Sarah Webb as a new governor to the Board at Cargilfield this term. As well as serving on the main Board, she will become part of the Education Committee.

With over 37 years of experience in education, Sarah has made significant contributions to both local authority schools and the independent sector in England and Scotland. Serving as a Head Teacher for over 22 years, she has been a passionate advocate for student success and educational excellence. Sarah's expertise was further recognized when she was seconded to Education Scotland as an Attainment Advisor, where she supported schools across Aberdeen City for 18 months.

Most recently, Sarah held the position of Head of Junior School at Robert Gordon’s College in Aberdeen before her retirement. Her career also included a role as an Associate Inspector, where she was part of the team that inspected Cargilfield in 2023.

A proud Aberdonian, Sarah received her education at Albyn School in Aberdeen, where she was Head Girl. She is married to Phil and is the mother of one son, Andrew.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah is passionate about sports and enjoys watching a wide variety of games and competitions. She also has a love for music, particularly singing and enjoys musicals at the theatre.
