Our Pipe Band was delighted to be invited to Strathallan to take part in their Prep Schools Piping and Drumming day, along with pupils from Strathallan Prep and Belhaven. After a fun quiz that tested our knowledge of piping and drumming, we worked in groups as pipers and drummers to learn some new repertoire. In the afternoon we came together to practice these new tunes, as well as some band standards we already knew, as a giant band, first of all outside in the lovely surroundings at Strathallan and then as a performance in the Chapel. The day was a great success, with many thanks to our hosts!
