A fantastic game against Ardvreck this afternoon, marking our first home fixture in a few weeks—a welcome change!

The team got off to a strong start with a focused warm-up led by Lottie, followed by some half-court play to sharpen their skills. They then played four 10-minute quarters, with Ardvreck taking the first centre pass and the game quickly gaining momentum.

In the opening quarter, our passing was fluid, but the court was noticeably quiet. Despite this, we finished with a 5-2 lead. The second quarter proved more challenging, with several missed scoring opportunities. However, the team remained resilient, with Lottie and Alice keeping everything steady. In defense, Ceci and Athena faced tall shooters but showcased their skills brilliantly, intercepting numerous passes into the circle.

The mid-court players of Emily, Scarlett, Freya, and Olivia moved seamlessly, delivering some stunning straight passes across the court. The third quarter was undoubtedly the highlight, with everything clicking into place and an impressive 10 goals scored.

Ceci was voted Player of the Match by Ardvreck, while Athena earned MVP from Ms. HS.
