On Wednesday evening, it was a pleasure to welcome a group of former pupils for a drinks reception at The Caledonian Club in London. It was a lovely evening, and a chance to reconnect and reminisce as well as an opportunity to meet Colin MacIntosh, our incoming Headmaster in August.

The highlight of the evening was to hear from Mark Agnew - Atlantic Rowing, a former pupil, who is a world record breaking adventurer and part of the first team to kayak the Northwest Passage in 2023 in some of the most difficult conditions on the planet. He talked about the challenges his team had to overcome, and how his experiences and friendships made at Cargilfield have been so important to him.
