What a joyful afternoon we had at our Pre-Prep Charity Family Ceilidh! The chapel was full of music, movement, and laughter as children, families, and teachers came together to celebrate with traditional Scottish dancing.
Led with warmth and enthusiasm by the wonderful Mrs Brockbank, the children confidently took to the floor to perform the dances they’ve been learning in their weekly lessons—including the Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, Virginia Reel, and Circassian Circle. It was such a treat to see their hard work shine through!
A huge thank you goes to Lindsay Weir, whose live accordion music added so much energy and authenticity to the event. The atmosphere was truly electric thanks to her beautiful playing.
The children looked fantastic too—many proudly wore kilts or added a splash of tartan to their outfits, which made everything feel extra festive.
We’re so grateful to all the families who came along—not just for cheering the children on, but for joining in the fun on the dance floor and helping create such a warm, joyful community atmosphere. Your generous donations to Canine Partners are truly appreciated and will help support their incredible work.
Thank you for being part of such a special day!
