U11B Girls beat Craigclowan!

U11B Girls beat Craigclowan!

A super start to the season!

Won 6-0

It was a windy start to the hockey season! This was the first time the girls had played together as a team, but this didn’t show. Initially there was some hesitation about tackling the opposition, but the girls soon got into the swing of things. Matilda and Francesca worked incredibly hard, running the length of the pitch. They both made some lovely smooth passes to Poppy and Lulu to set up goals and used the width of the pitch. Lulu and Poppy worked brilliantly together, succesfully using one another as they approached the D. This enabled both of them to score all of our goals. Lottie played an excellent pass, playing down the side of the pitch and straight into the D to Poppy, looking before she passed. In defence, Iona and Ruby worked hard so the ball didn’t even approach Charlotte in goals. More communication between the girls and being stronger when they approach the D would help them in the future. A great first game girls, well done.
