Emilia won the toss and the girls continued controling possession throughout the first quarter and a succession of good passing between Nancy, Scarlett and Athena allowed Isla to score quickly. However, Kilgraston had a solid defence and their girls were able to limit Cargilfield to just two goals in the first quarter. The girls began the second quarter ambitiously, they called more for the ball and used space well. This improvement in performance continued throughout the next two quarters and reflected in the score as Shriyaa and Isla were similarly efficient in their shooting. The girls were cruising with a 7-0 lead at the start of the final quarter. Despite a little complacency allowing Kilgraston to threaten our clean sheet, Cece and Emilia held them off. Isla finished the game with another goal and so today’s match concluded 8-0.
