On a blustery afternoon our Senior Cross-Country Squad travelled north to Strathallan School to compete in their Invitational Cross-Country Championship. A 2.3km track met the runners around the undulating grounds of the school, a tough challenge against many of the top prep schools in Scotland.

Our U13 boys set off first and were superb. Our notable performers were Alex and Paddy who finished second and third in a time of 7 mins 58 secs. Ewan, James and Sylvan all finished within the top 15 and showed real determination to get around the course.

Our U13 girls showed the same spirit with Tunrayo, Savannah and Scarlett leading the pack to finish sixth, seventh and tenth. It was brilliant to see Anna, Mariella, Judith and Lily run with such commitment, they all finished well inside the top half of a high quality field and showcases the hard work they have put in with Mr Pike and Mr Tinkler over the past few weeks.
