U13B Girls' Cricket vs Loretto

The U13B Team travelled to Loretto in their first Cricket game of the season. The girls were excited for the game ahead and were motivated to play well as a team. The girls lead by Emilia S won the toss and chose to field first. They started off slow with their bowling finding it hard to keep it straight allowing Loretto to gain many points for wide balls and no balls. The team however did work well fielding making every effort to get the ball back to the wickets.

Loretto started off and scored 59 runs.

Now it was our turn to take on the batting which is where we excelled attempting to hit every ball, every rolling balls and being courageous with their running which they attempted at every opportunity. The girls pairs worked well and communication was very good. Our top scorer of the game was Lexi with 10 runs followed closely by Emilia on 8 runs. The girls learnt a lot and we very positive about the game, and scored 73 runs which meant we won the game. Well done!
