What an incredible FINAL game of the season. The girls have gone from strength to strength with their skills, teamwork, tactics and enthusiasm and I am so proud of what an epic season they have had. Undefeated in every Wednesday fixture and winning the Loretto and Cargilfield Sevens!

The team today was captained by Scarlett with her and Cecilia sharing quarters in goal. Athena and Emily our driving force in midfield with their skill, speed and determination to score. Lottie and Livia in attack to outwit the defence and knock balls into the goal. Beatrice, Thalia, Zinnia and Olivia working as a force in defence making it very difficult for the opposition to have shots on goal and passing it out wide but also working on moving up the pitch and not being afraid to keep dribbling into attack.

Today’s fixture the girls really learnt the meaning behind Sportsmanship having scored a number of goals very quickly against Ardvrek, we adapted our position and attitudes. We played more of a conditioned game resulting in Beatrice, that usually plays in defence scoring a wonderful goal in midfield. Our other goal scorers were Livia, Zinnia, Lotte, Athena and Emily. Final score 9-0. Well done on an incredible season girls, having the LOUDEST cheers and showing fantastic teamwork.
