Cargilfield Under 9s Tigers and Lions played a return match with Ardvreck on a very cold afternoon.

The teams were changed slightly and we were very pleased to win both matches 6-2.

Emilie scored a lovely goal very quickly into the match, catching Ardvreck napping. Georgia was man of the match scoring 4 goals in the first 2 quarters and contributing well in the last two. Thandie played high for most of the match and scored a goal in the final quarter, ably assisted by Isabelle. Minty was strong in midfield delivering quality balls forward and Isabelle and Emilie were strong on the wings. Eleora and Esme were brilliant in defence clearing balls strongly and mostly avoided hitting them across our own goal. We were good at marking when Ardvreck had a hit out and we are starting to be able to block these balls. Eleora and Esme took Cargilfield hit outs quickly and made good use of the opportunity. We have made great progress this term and it was lovely to end the season on a win. Very well done, girls!
