U11A Netball Vs Craigclowan

We have started to make some progress during training with dodging and changing direction and avoiding big lobs across the court. We were excited to give some of this a try when we met Craiglclowan today. Our line up was a little different from our usual with Beatrice making her debut for the A team on the Wing.

Craigclowan took the first centre pass but we leapt into action (perhaps a little too fast) and got an early lead. With some excellent shooting form Lottie and Scarlett we were 2 goals ahead by the end of the quarter.

The next quarter was our finest of the match and probably the best we have played all season. We moved smoothly across the court with lots of short, hard chest passes and remembered to use the wings, running into space. By the end of this quarter we had a commanding lead of 8 goals to 2. Zinnia played her socks off and was excellent at GD.

Our next quarter was a little less successful although we continued to play well. We needed to slow the pace a little and consider our options before either shooting or passing. The Craigclowan girls really stepped up their marking and kept us under pressure right to the end of the game.
