The Tigers were second to play against a Craigclowan team that had already played our Lions. We were therefore only allowed a much shorter playing time. In the first quarter Esme played as centre moving the ball well to Imman and Georgia in shooting positions. Georgia scored 2 goals and Craigclowan managed 3 despite super efforts from Polly and Minty in defence.

The second quarter saw Esme and Maria in shooting positions and we managed to get the ball down to allow Esme to score. Craigclowan hit back with a further goal. We lost some urgency in the final two quarters losing the ball to the Craigclowan defence. Too many of our passes went awry and we were not quick enough to get back to defend and in particular to take up positions in the shooting circle. We are getting better at intercepting but need to turn to defence more quickly. Final score of a short and rather scrappy game- Craigclowan 6 Cargilfield 3.
