U13A Netball v St George’s

The Team: Maddie, Tunrayo, Jess, Scarlett, Izzie, Miranda, Savanna and Esme

The team arrived motivated and excited for the game. After last weeks result the girls really wanted to perform better. Having very little experience of playing St.George’s but hearing they had a good reputation made the team a little nervous but keen to get going. From the first whistle they showed how much they have gelled since the beginning of term. Their passing at speed, moving into spaces, defending of the ball and interceptions were incredible. Shots on the net were also followed by jumping rebounds again keeping the ball in our possession. There were evident set plays being used at centre passes and Izzy even brought some roll dodges into play really helping with ensuring possession was kept. Only as the game went into the final stages through tiredness they were being called for footwork. Well done girls!
