Despite cold temperatures, we enjoyed a sunny and windless afternoon for this match. The girls were motivated and focused from the beginning as they remembered losing their last game against Fettes, beginning of this term.

The girls found their feet in the first quarter and both teams finished the first 10 mn on a draw. After a quick chitchat, the team realised they had to be quicker at passing back the ball after an interception. Another point mentioned was their use of the space and making sure to spread. After this, Cargilfield started dominating the score, always by just a few points, as Fettes was also playing well. We had 2 subs in each quarter, which means all the girls managed to have ago and be a sub at least once. It was a great game to watch and Cargilfield girls gave their best in this match. There is a clear improvement here from our first matches just a few weeks ago and the team is definitely better at analyzing their play and make improvements where needed.
