U13B Hockey v Belhaven (A)

The Under 13 B Squad gave a strong performance on a beautiful crisp Spring afternoon at Belhaven and came out comfortable winners by 5 goals to nil.

The team, led confidently by captain and keeper Archie, started strongly and were 2 goals to the good by half time, thanks to a neat deflected goal from Daniel and a super ‘top corner’ strike from the edge of the D from Sylvan.

Further goals followed from Freddie, Paddy and Dexter and some great saves from Archie enabled Cargilfield to celebrate a ‘clean sheet’.

Tristan, Monty, Rafa and Joseph were solid and reliable in both midfield and defence, with Monty dictating play throughout the game.

Well done to the whole team on a fine win.
