2^nd Netball v Strathallan (H)

14-11 Loss

For their last match of the term, we had great weather conditions to play. Our captain lost the toss but chose where her team was shooting first. As we had two subs, we managed to turn positions every quarter to make sure everybody could enjoy their last match of netball. It was a close result in the first quarter as we ended with a 4-2 for Strathallan. Unfortunately, the second quarter was not as good for Cargilfield and the girls took 6 more goals without being able to score. They were taken by surprise by the ability of the opponent to pass the ball quickly and to jump high to intercept it.

Cargilfield started coming back in the 3^rd and 4^th quarters but not enough for a win. It was still a close ending with 14-11. This game showed some great improvement, especially between now and the start of term. There were a lot less mistakes, the girls are now able to analyse the game and make the correct changes. There were still issues in the use of the space and communication between them. Something to work on in the future.

Well done, girls, this was a very good season!
