U11 Rugby v Newcastle Prep School

The U11 rugby squad enjoyed a competitive and exciting game against a touring team from Newcastle Prep School. Cargilfield started strongly, linking together some fluid sequences of play and scoring a couple of really good tries. With real heart, NPS came roaring back into the game, keeping the score line close in the first of three 15-minute game sessions. In the second session, NPS grew into the game more and managed to break through a few more tackles, putting themselves 3 tries ahead before the final game slot. Despite Cargilfield throwing everything at them, the brave NPS players managed to hang on to their lead and won a great game. Both teams showed some super skills and the teamwork on show was excellent. Well played everyone!
