U10A Boys’ Cricket v Loretto
Cargilfield 45 for 2
Loretto 72 for 4
The U10s played a good game of cricket today which had plenty of encouraging signs for the rest of the season. The concise nature of the game meant that the boys got to play in a 4 innings format against Loretto giving them more of a chance for batting and bowling each. Although the boys went down there were encouraging signs as the team scored more runs in the second innings and took more wickets than Loretto across the match. Additionally there were some outstanding efforts in the field with great catches and diving efforts to stop boundaries. All in all despite a loss the boys played well and are well placed to have a season that results in plenty of improvement and success.
Freddie J Player of the match for his great Batting and fielding
