U9 Cricket v Strathallan

​A super spring day in beautiful Perthshire was a fitting setting for our first fixture.

12 intrepid form 4 cricketers were mixed with the Strathallan team to form 2 mixed matches. Each batting pair faced 4 overs giving everyone plenty of opportunity to both bat and bowl. Coaching on the side from Mr Pike and Mr Webb meant that everyone made improvements to their game during the afternoon.

Some highlights of the day were visits from the local wildlife. Mr Pike’s game was visited by a tiny mouse; all play stopped whilst it was relocated to safer ground and in Mrs Dholakia’s game an earthworm stopped play

Notable amongst our form 4 super stars were Cata, and Elisha for their bowling, Daniel and Dillon for their batting and Billy and Elena for their fielding on the boundary
