Team: Eleora, Jed, Leo, Louis, Anastasia, Katherine, Hollynd, Ethan, Charlotte, Polly (Capt), Daniyal & Charlie.

It was a very wet and windy start to the day, but there were welcome glimpses of sunshine throughout! Polly won the toss and chose to field first. Despite challenging conditions, with strong gusts making the softball tricky to control, the team held their nerve and bowled with impressive consistency and great length.

Charlotte, Leo, and Jed all managed to hit the stumps, showing excellent accuracy. Fettes managed to find a few gaps and push the ball past the fielders on a couple of occasions, earning themselves 4 runs. They finished their innings with a respectable total of 30.

Our team came out to bat with energy and intent, attacking every ball from the start. Hollynd set the tone early, scoring a fantastic 4 off a rolling ball. The batting partnerships worked brilliantly, with strong communication allowing them to steal several clever runs. Every pair contributed, and the teamwork at the crease was outstanding.

The team finished on a brilliant 73 runs – a well-deserved win!
