Remote Learning

This is the place where you will be able to locate various documents relating to our plans for Remote Learning and the continuity of education here at Cargilfield.

Remote Learning

Further to the Headmaster’s recent communications, please find below our plan for Remote Learning during the Summer Term.

Staying Safe Online

Now that we have moved to remote learning , it is more important than ever that you stay safe online. Please read the document below and speak to a trusted adult if you are at all concerned about anything.

‘How to….’ Guides

Most of our remote learning this term is going to be through Office 365 using Microsoft Teams and the associated online Apps. Below are some useful downloads created by Mr Murdoch which may help children get started.

Following feedback over the holidays, we have adapted the daily timetable for the Upper School and we hope that these timetables will provide much needed structure for the children during this period of remote learning at home. Teachers will be on hand to communicate with their classes during these times, using a variety of methods to teach, set work and deliver feedback.

Cargilfield Connected

We can’t welcome you to our grounds right now, but we can offer you a virtual tour and we can answer questions via email or telephone. We especially like to chat face-to-face on a video call.

We have places available for 2021 entry in most year groups.

For now, we hope that this video, presented by our Headmaster, Mr Rob Taylor, will give you a flavour of what life is like here at Cargilfield. Our website and social media channels are kept up to date and hold a wealth of information about our school.

Our Registrar, Fiona Craig is available to contact via email: [email protected] and she will be happy to help you. Thank you
