Friends of Cargilfield

Purposes of the Friends of Cargilfield

The Friends of Cargilfield (FOC) is dedicated to promoting Cargilfield as a happy and successful independent school.

FOC is composed of parents selected as Class Representatives for their respective year groups.

FOC plays a vital role in supporting new parents by reaching out and connecting with them before their child starts school as well as keeping their year groups informed about the latest news. Additionally, the Form Representatives of FOC meet monthly to organize coffee mornings and social events throughout the year, offering parents the opportunity to connect and socialize.

To support the school and its chosen charities, FOC manages the Uniform Shop and conducts a number of fundraising activities, including cake sales, quiz nights, and seasonal fairs. 75% of the proceeds go to Cargilfield’s chosen charities, with the remainder supporting the school projects.

In 2023/2024, Cargilfield is proud to support Lewis Leap, the National Deaf Children’s Society, and Canine Partners.
