To help all of the new P1 children settle into Cargilfield we held a Teddy Bears Picnic in Week 2. They all brought a beloved teddy into school and took care of it throughout the day. The teddies had a tour of the school then we picked up our picnics from the kitchen and looked for a good spot for a picnic. The teddies decided they were not keen to sit in the rain, so we put our blankets down in the cow shed and feasted there. Our visitors were extremely well behaved, polite and even helped to tidy up afterwards!
