1st Girls beat Ardvreck

Another super team performance!

Once again, the weather was on our side for another fantastic day of hockey. We arrived in Crieff looking to continue our winning start to the season. We played on a ¾ size pitch which was a fantastic learning curve for the girls who realised we need to use width. We were put under pressure straight away but our defence was solid and kept Ardvreck at bay. We had to change our strategy and play counter attacking hockey which was very successful with Venetia H scoring a cracker of a goal from the top of the D. After two quick goals we took control of the game and ended up scoring a further two goals coming away with a hard-fought win. All the girls played really well and are starting to really come together. The girls are already looking forward to our next match which I’m sure will be another tough game.
