The girls have been working hard in their netball training sessions on Fridays and were excited to welcome our neighbours back for a rematch.

As so many of us wanted to play, we split into two mixed ability teams. This also allowed everyone an opportunity to work on their position of choice.

Our Red team took the first centre pass and we quickly took an early lead with both Emily and Lucia scoring. Lottie was excellent in defence and worked with Mille and Cecilia to keep the ball out of the D at the end of the first quarter we were 3 nil ahead.

The Blue team came on and this time Cramond were ready for us. Their defence was excellent but Rosanna and Millie both scored goals allowing us to keep our advantage. Thalia and Clara worked very well as a team feeding the ball to our shooters. In our defending third both Aglaya and Lotte were superb at intercepting the Cramond passes and were supported by Emilia.

In the third quarter, back came our Reds and Olivia moved tirelessly around the court creating an effective link of straight line passes down the court from Lottie to Emily. She was well supported by Scarlett whose quick feet kept her Cramond marker on the run. We were much more evenly matched in this quarter with both teams scoring 3 apiece.

In the final quarter, our Blues returned and Aglaya and Lotte swapped positions. Cramond were determined to scored and did so on the last whistle.
