The team including Scarlett, Maddie, Tunrayo, Izzy and Miranda teamed up with Fettes players Kitty, Lola, Georgia, Sienna and Carlene to create TEAM SALTIRES. The team was competing against the Thistles and Caledonians.

The girls had two successful training sessions over the last week including a warm up game against Fettes U14 team on Tuesday evening, where they performed well. The girls got to know one another well in advance of the tournament which was great! There was a lot of flexibility with positions which allowed the strength of the team to stay balanced.

The first game was against Thistles where the team played well passing, linking and scoring. They finished this game with a convincing win. The second game against Caledonians was tough with Saltires winning the first and fourth quarters and Caledonians winning the second and third. In particular Caledonians managed to gain many valuable goals which became too difficult to catch in the third quarter. Saltires finished second overall having played very well as a team. A fun opportunity to play with Fettes and well hosted by Strathallan!
