Despite some of us being a bit under par we felt confident when we met Belhaven this afternoon. We started very well with our girls playing their “normal “positions. The game flowed really well and we avoided loopy passes that could be easily intercepted. Scarlett and Miranda were shooting very well and at the end of the first quarter we were 3 goals ahead. In the second quarter Lottie came on to play WD and Olivia to C. This line up worked very well. Our defence were doing a very goo d job of intercepting the shooters and Emilia and Lottie on the wings played very well intercepting frequently. We ended this quarter with a commanding lead of 13 goals.

In the spirit of fair play, we rearranged our team for the next 2 quarters. After resting both the shooters for the quarter, Miranda came on at GD and Nadia at GK. Despite being out of position they communicated well and continued to press for the ball. Freya got an excellent interception and worked very well on the circle edge. Lottie at GS worked well with Scarlett with some excellent goals form both of them. We ended the game with a 31-8 victory, saving our best play so far for this penultimate fixture.
