U11B Hockey beat Strathallan

Well played, boys!

Won 11- 0

The hockey season drew to a close on Wednesday with a home fixture for the Under-11B boys, hosting Strathallan.

The boys were keen to make the most of their last hurrah of hockey this year by having the best performance they could muster and they certainly managed that! They were stronger on the ball than the opposition but it was clear that all of the passing drills the boys had done over the course of the season had reaped their rewards as the boys were able to string together some passing which often lead to a goal. Ten of the goals were scored in open play, but captain for the day, Freddie, had the honour of the only running penalty of the match, which he duly dispatched. All of the boys had their chance in front of goal and some of them made the most of their chances. Our home goal wasn't threatened much, but the boys managed to quell any potential threats without any panic.

This has been a successful season and credit to all the boys who have worked hard to improve their skills on the hockey pitch.

Well done, boys!
