The 3rd girls had a slightly easier match than the 1st girls today and did well to wait patiently until the second round of play before starting. We were definitely the stronger of the teams throughout and we were spoilt by some great and consistent shooting from Emma who just could not miss the target! She really was on form today and she scored 7 of our 9 goals. We passed the ball particularly well in the centre area, and Bethany and Charlotte linked up well here. Cicely was a steady as a rock in defence and the St Mary’s girls really struggled to get anything past her. Captain Iona also played well today, and she was a strong WD, intercepting well and turning the play round. We moved a few girls around a little at half time as the score was 8-1, and the match finished 9-3 to Cargilfield. Well done girls; some really lovely netball today.
