Loss 0:7
Cargilfield Under 9s played a fine first quarter against Craigclowan, holding them to a 0:0 draw -the match looked quite even to begin with. However, in each of the subsequent quarters we conceded 2 goals and we seemed unable to finish and score ourselves. We did manage to put some pressure on Craigclowan but our passing was not strong enough and the ball was passed back down into our half. I was pleased, however, to see improved positioning. We are starting to spread out and play more as a team. To improve we need to pass more strongly and use our dribbling skills to get around the opposition. Very well done to Minty who played splendidly in midfield and also to Esme who was very strong in defence, ably supported by Anastasia. We did enjoy playing and we had a super match tea with a lovely group of girls. Well done on keeping going too!
